Our core objective is to remove, recycle and redeploy contaminated soils for the remediation and construction industry in Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Wiltshire, Dorset and West Sussex. Hazardous Waste Management Ltd (HWM Ltd) is established in the treatment and re-processing of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous contaminated soil.
HWM have heavily invested in a plant process that deals with a host of contaminants within made ground, soils, stone and sand. Our bespoke equipment has been designed by two industry leaders together with members of our own experienced team - using technical diversity with a main goal of reaching ‘end of waste’ status for material in order to avoid unnecessary disposal of hazardous soils and non-hazardous soils in landfill.
HWM Ltd own a soil treatment facility in Hampshire, near the M3, for processing soils impacted with heavy metal and hydrocarbons. Once the material has undergone our unique cleaning process it is then re-deployed into the construction industry in accordance with the WRAP Protocol.
Our objectives are to work with our clients to seek out the best viable option for their contaminated soil issues and to provide a cost-effective solution that is good for the environment, sustainable and gives our clients peace of mind.
Brownfield Development often has contamination issues due the nature of previous use.
Where Soil Guideline Values indicate there is presence of contamination that may be likely to cause harm to human health, we will assess the treatability of the material and give clients a cost effective waste management plan.
